Description
This world map is made up of 784 diamond shapes, each with the average colour of the area in question. However abstract the result may be, it is still possible to distinguish features: the Amazon, the Sahara, Greenland, the Mediterranean, the Himalayas. And of course the seven continents. The transitions between the panes have been slightly accentuated, creating a watercolour-like effect.
