Description
What would the world look like if all of its land was water and all the water land? If the continents were oceans and the oceans continents? If all the islands were lakes and all the lakes were islands?
This globe shows it all: a planet with more than twice as much land area as ours, grouped around a few huge water basins.
We see the Asian Ocean and the Australian Sea, separated by the region of the great lakes: Lake Borneo, Lake Sumatra and Lake Guinea, to name a few. On the left is the Indian continent with its vast jungles. On the right we see the huge continent of Pacifica, which is mainly desert. On the left is the Indian continent with vast areas of rainforest, desert, and tundra.
There are also American and European/African versions of this work as well as a flat world map.
