Artist's Description

View from Öskjuhlíð Hill over the coloured rooftops of Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. With two buildings sticking out above them: the Háteigskirkja on the left and the Sjómannaskólinn (Maritime School) on the right. In the background the water of the Kollafjörður and the snowy mountains behind.

This "paintification" is based on a photo that has been exposed to textures and filters until a drawn, picturesque look emerged.
