Description

This virtual relief creates the illusion of depth on a flat surface.

The image is made by building a 3D model and subsequently materializing and illuminating it in a visualization program.

By mirroring, rotating and copying a relatively simple shape, an intriguing pattern of triangles appears.

This work was done in silver; there is also a version in brick and mossy wood.
